The Murphies és un grup d´ska i reggae format per vuit músics d´origens musicals diversos, però que coincidim amb el gust
per la música jamaicana
El grup va nèixer l´any 1994, quan un grup d´amics van considerar la possibilitat de tocar plegats per passar-ho bé. La banda va estar funcionant fins el 1999 i actualment, el grup es retroba l´any 2011 i s´engresca en una nova aventura.
